T40 Wireless Problems

The wireless card on my T40 can detect my local wireless network and connect to it, but cannot obtain TCP/IP addresses or connect to the Internet. I downloaded and reinstalled the appropriate drivers for the card from the websites of Lenovo's and Intel, but failed to fix the problem. Any help? Thanks.
