windows icons on a widescreen display

#1 Post by charredii » Wed Dec 19, 2007 6:35 pm

I noticed this mostly with the OS icons, but widescreens generally tend to make them extremely pixelated. Is there a way to fix this?

PS how is levono phone support and wlk-in warranty service??

unless you've set resolution outside of native, icons should look good on any screen whether it's 16:10 or 4:3 ratio.   what size and resolution is your display, what resolution is it set at, and what OS are you using?   knowing that should help us fix your issue.

Second best in computer industry. You can search the forum to learn more about user's experiences.

I have a T60 15.4" widescreen running windows xp pro. my lcd is 1680x1050 (at least that's what the background was set to when I received this). I'm pretty sure this is correct, but i don't know how to check. I've seen a dell widescreen with the same problems, if that means anything.

thanks

Please check your color depth. If it's 16bits (instead of 32) you probably get more pixelated icons...

How do I get that? My 15.4" T61 won't go any higher then 1280x800

You wouldn't if your native resolution is 1280X800 (WXGA).
