t60 fingerprint screen

#1 Post by lintzuchieh » Fri Dec 21, 2007 1:08 pm

hello, when i choose the use fingerprint to log on, it automatically disable the welcome screen, but my friend who uses a t41, he could see the welcome screen too. and it wasn't disabled when i used Vista, but now i use XP.

now, its just a black screen when a msg box telling me to swipe my finger or type in password ... i know its not really a matter, but it would be cool to get this fixed :P

thx in advance!

In the "Control Center" of ThinkVantage Fingerprint reader in Windows XP change the "System Settings" in "Logon" tab from "Fingerprint logon" to "Fast User Switching" or "Standard Windows logon".

Well, it works for me both under Windows XP and Vista with that same option, actually worked out of the box under lenovo preload.

I suggest you update your current Fingerprint reader.
