Sadly Ive been using the same track point cap for the past year. I finally decided to change it. Dont mind me, im just bored and decided to take a comparison pic with new and old :P

Well, I can't use caps more than a month. My fingers have too rough skin. This picture is new vs 2 weeks old:

Wow that sure does look worn. Those are called the eraser heads right? I never really got comfortable with those ones..

In general trackpoint is called "eraser head" but trackpoint caps have different names.

1. The one in the 1st picture with dimpled surface is called Soft Dome (the very same that comes installed by default with keyboards from the factory).

2. The one in the second picture is called Classic Dome or Cat's tongue due to it's rough texture and feel similar to the tongue of a cat.

3. Third one with the curved lip is called Soft Rim.
