a very load buzzing sound

Hi

There is a somewhat constant buzzing sound coming from the left side of my T43. I know it is not the fan, because the sound persists when the fan is off.

anyone has similar experiences? any solutions?

I have heard about this before.

Does it go away if you switch over to an other power scheme?

Try "Super Power Saver" or "High Performance"

I have this issue on my T40, and if i choose an other powerscheme the sounds goes away.

it worked like a charm.

is there a way to get rid of the noise on "High Performance" mode as well? btw it has noise when the lappy is in high performance mode.
