SOLD: Thinkpad T61p BRAND NEW

#1 Post by kimo » Tue Dec 25, 2007 1:33 am

Just recently purchased and received a 14" T61p SXGA. Failed to realize that it wasn't a widescreen, so I figured someone here might want it. I paid $1,182.05 for it. I'm hoping to get as close to this amount as possible.

The laptop was taken out of it's plastic wrap. I haven't turned it on or inserted the battery.

The specs for this 8891-CTO are:

Why don't you return it for a refund?

I don't think you can return a CTO for refund without good reason.

sounds good. it's the standard 1 year warranty. it was delivered on dec. 24th, so i guess the warranty would end around 1 year from now.

I never heard of this. Have you, the OP, asked? Certainly if the OP was expecting a wide screen and did not get it, that is a problem which should be corrected by an exchange.

But it seems that the OP thought SXGA+ was widescreen.

No, i overlooked it. I first considered the t61 14" which is available in widescreen and simply assumed that the t61p was also in widescreen.

The same laptop is being sold now for $1,358 before taxes. Would $1,150 shipped for mine be of interest to anyone? I am open to all reasonable offers.

Hi,

I'm really interested in purchasing your laptop. I have some questions though.

1. Will you be willing to send to Australia? (I'll pay a little more for it of course)
2. Can you post a couple of pictures?

Reply or PM me! ..

Thanks
