SD Card Reader Issue on Z61m

Ok I thought it was a hardware issue with my SD Card reader, I get an error that says code 38. So each time I have to restart my computer to use the SC card. So I reformated, than it worked fine, until I got the error again after I did the updates. The problem is I dont know what update caused that error and I dont know how to fix it!
