Screen Flickers after Login

After I login to vista, the LCD will always flicker one time (go completely black for a split second). I did a fresh install, and then installed all of the current drivers manually. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

try disabling TMM.   even though i'm using an external display, i turned TMM off on all my vista installations because that flicker bothered me.

I am actually enjoying the switch from XPP to Vista.
