T42p indicator lights

T42p:

Screen failed. Had it replaced. New screen a-ok. Indicator lights, not a-ok. With the exception of the wireless indicator, all indicator lights are now dark. Any thoughts?

Certainly, if the screen was fixed by IBM/Lenovo, send it back. I have seen the problem caused by bad inverter, bad cable, damaged motherboard connector and unexplained mysteries.

I had the same on my T43p, originally they wanted to swap a cable out, ended up replacing the MB.

this issue is most likely due to MB defect.
replace it if warranty still valid
