CPU Upgrade R60

Hi,

I have a R60 with a Centrino Core Duo T2300E 1.66GHz Processor. What is the maximum speed processor I can use? Do you have suggestions for the best one to use.

You'll probably get more bang for your buck upgrading to a faster hard drive and more memory unless you have a specific need. Most everyday tasks like Office, Internet, Music, burning discs, etc. aren't very CPU intensive.

I would think with a BIOS update you could do any of the non Santa Rosa Core 2 Duos.
