X31 Owner - New T60P

There is a crazy deal on the T60P with the IPS screen, with all the coupons and discounts around $850 including upgraded drive and bigger battery.

Question is... coming from an x31, how much heavier is it, really? Is it a big "upgrade" in terms of screen quality and performance?

Any X31 owners that also have a T60P out there?

I'd be interested also. Is it for only one machine you found on ebay maybe? To answer your question, the screen quality will be "day and night" better, and it will be a couple of lbs. heavier. And for $850? What is there to think about? LOL...You can always turn around and sell it for more if it's not to your satisfaction. For example, you could sell it to me. 8)

Screen quality ? Definitely, the extremly crappy lcd panel in X31 and T60 IPS panel are something completely different. I have X31 and R51 with SXGA+ IPS so I can compare it side-by-side.
