Can't open my memory bay door

#1 Post by rocketman » Sat Nov 20, 2004 11:08 am

I was all ready to add another 512mb of ram to my new T42. I turned it over removed the battery and tried to unscrew the memory bay door but it's screwed on so tight that I can't seem to get it open with any size philips head screwdriver. I'm afraid to strip the screw, actually I hope I didn't already . Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get it open?

Nothing very technical, I pushed down a little on the door and had to put a little more pressure than I would have liked on the screw driver to finally get the screw out. Everything went fine after that, I'm running with 1gb of ram now. Got it from Crucial.

You need to turn the mic on.

"Open the memory bay doors, Hal."
