Ubuntu Wireless on a A31P

I'm trying linux for about the fifth time (I usually get mad at it in like 2 hours when it won't do something and go back to windows) Anyways, I'm trying to get the wireless to work in my house with no luck. It says I'm connected, but I get go anywhere on the internet or even log onto the router. Any ideas?

Does wireless work OK in Windows?
