New T42 2378-FTU experience

#1 Post by sinewave » Sat Nov 20, 2004 8:39 pm

Due to the nature of this type of forum the bad experiences often out weigh the good so I thought I would post my recent positve purchase of a T42 to replace a T21.

Having scoured these boards for several months and building a mental list of all the problems that could be present on a new Thinkpad I am pleased to report that my sample is problem free. Dead/stuck pixels were my first concern and I can find none running DPT. The build quality and fit is superb, everything hardware and software wise just works without issue.

With the help of this forum I was able to make a well researched and informed purchase, my thanks go out ot you all.

I'm not going to say "You're welcome" b/c I'm pretty new to the forum but I will say kudos and that I'm glad that you're enjoying your new TP.

Just remember boy and girls:

Congrats to you. I have a perfect thinkpad now, but it took me 3 tries. It was all worth it though.

Word. ThinkPads Fo' LYFE. They are off the hizzle... fo' shizzle.
