recommendations for a WiFi card

Hi all,
Happy New Year! Since I´m having some problems with my wireless card (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 ABG), which I posted about in the Z series forum, I started looking for a new one with better performance and reliability that would fit into a TP. I´ve read some nice things about Atheros but really have no idea which type and modell I should go for. Any thoughts or recommendations are welcome!
