How to enable hardware Disable Execute Protection on N200

I have just recently got a Lenovo 3000 N200 laptop with Core2Duo.

The processor supports hardware DEP, however Windows XP doesn't see it as it's disabled in the BIOS which isn't uncommon. Going into the Phoenix BIOS it's only really pretty basic stuff shown, no advanced settings are visible and the setting to enable/disable hardware DEP isn't amongst the simple settings.

I'm assuming the advanced stuff in the BIOS is hidden to prevent end user's breaking something, is there a way to see more advanced options, such as using some key combination to enter the BIOS in place of the F1 key?

I've tried several common combinations for the Phoenix BIOS and found nothing, apart from Control + S at boot takes you into the graphic card BIOS, may be handy for some.

In Thinkpads it can be found under "Memory Protection" however lenovo 3000 is a small consumer or roughly SOHO line of lenovo PC product, if you as a Supervisor/Admin of the machine can't find it then it hasn't been integrated in the BIOS.

Thanks for the reply.

You are probably right, although it seems strange to disable (or not provide the option to enable) a feature that would likely help and protect home/SOHO users.

I'm sure there must be a hidden BIOS menu as I'm sure engineers would need access to more settings to troubleshoot or repair these things.

I'll keep hoping for a solution.
