High resolution screen on T2x

#1 Post by icebag » Fri Jan 04, 2008 8:46 am

Does anyone know (or know how to find) the model numbers for T2x machines with a 1400 x 1050 display? I have a couple with 1024 x 768 screens and I would interested in playing with one having the higher resolution.

You should find the information you are looking for in the IBM tawbook.pdf file.
Here is the link to the file. Look for the models with the SXGA+ screen. They came with the 1400x1050 TFT display.

While this might mean more competition for my favorite eBay systems, here's another source for determining which T23s came with the SXGA+ screen:

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mo ... 2p9631.pdf

The Hardware Maintenance Manual, starting at page 145, contains a more complete list of system types that had the higher resolution display that you are (and I am) looking for.

That's another excellent resource. Thank you Ray. (I suppose if you are watching US eBay and I am watching UK eBay we may both get lucky.)

What browser are you using? I use IE7. Can you do a right-click and then "save target as..."?
