Anyone here have a Radeon Mobility 9600 (4e50) and Leopard?

#1 Post by tpmwr » Sat Jan 05, 2008 10:05 am

I have been trying like crazy to get my Radeon Mobility 9600 (4e50) in my T42 to work with Leopard, but from as far as I can tell the Callisto b.005 Drivers crash Leopard and refuse to let it boot.

Has anyone here had luck with this card and Leopard? Any help would be really appreciated. I have made a few posts about it on InsanelyMac, but haven't been met with too much help.

I've gotten it to work with Leopard without installing the Callisto drivers, but CoreImage is software only and QuartzExtreme is not supported after fresh install.

I'm sticking with 10.4.8 (JaS) for now since 10.5.1 (Kalyway) seems to have slow boot issues....
