tom bihn laptop sleeves

I'm about to go back to school with my new laptop, but realize I want protection for my T60 without buying another bag or backpack. I believe getting a good sleeve for my laptop would allow me to carry it separately or in a backpack without worrying. Looking around, i did find the ordinary neoprene sleeves, but those seem inadequate.

I am considering getting a tom bihn vertical brain cell (their website is www.tombihn.com) but was wondering if anyone had any experience with these guys. How good are their stuff? Is it really worth the steep price?
