High-pitched whine from X40's disk?

I think I've read this elsewhere, but right now I'm using my X40 in a very quiet room, and I've noticed an annoying high-pitched whine coming from the machine. I believe it's from the disk drive.

Anyone noticed this? It sounds like normal noise from the machine, but it's annoying.

Yup, I believe it's just a design fault of the hard drive. I've tested 3 of the same hard drives in the X40 and they all have made this sound. I hope someone out there can prove me wrong... cause this thing is annoying at times.
