The connector on the back of an ultrabay drive is different from standard ATA 50-pin.

I have not tried, but I would expect you would need to take apart and old not working ultrabay device to get a connector and take apart the new drive. The connector probably needs to bs soldered

Enough to take the included connector of the combo in the notebook acquired. (english OK for you?)
