Hi,
I‘ve got my T61 repaired, and service man said motherboard was replaced. Every time I run TVSU i get the same error. Some said it could be because of the model number for my computer is wrong, so i’ve checked for it with bios utility and found it blank. I know it was something like 7661-CTO since last bios update. I have successfully updated latest BIOS but still cannot input model number.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers
ThinkVantage System Update error 75
Thanks Harryc, found info on changing S/N in Hardware Maintenance Manual - ThinkPad R61, R61i and T61 “Retaining serial numbers” section too.
