From 2100 3B to 2200 BG internal wireless, not working!

We have a T42 at work that was bought off eBay and came with a 2100 3B wireless adapter, which wasn't fast enough, so we bought a 2200BG off of eBay.

After my co-worker swapped the cards, he states that he then started up the machine, loaded the 2200BG drivers, and reinstalled access connections.

Now, the wireless LED under the screen is glowing a solid green and the wireless icon in the tray has a red X over it. Access Connections says the wireless radio is off and prompts him to turn it on, but then it does nothing. Same thing with hitting Fn+F5 - nothing happens, he can just keep turning it on over and over...

Any ideas anyone?!?! Thanks!

Uninstall the drivers and remove the card.

Re-install the drivers and insert the card after that.

Let's see how this flies...
