That palmrest is $670??? Wow. I've an R40 in pieces right now. I think I'm going to be a lot more careful when handling that palmrest from here on out.

I might be interested in that keyboard. I'll have to look up my specific R40 model to see whether my keyboard is the same. My type number differs from yours. I'll have to do that later this evening, after work.

Perhaps a dumb question, but does the "keyboard" include the two mouse buttons and the middle scroll button? That looks to be the case, but I'd want to be sure. It's that middle button that I'm really concerned about.

Are we all missing something here................

And what would this palmrest be made from.......? Gold is about 850.00 an oz.........................

I would suspect the high price is due to limited production and high sales.

Also take into account that these are "dealership" prices and not discount store prices.

I'll agree with limited production but disagree with high sales.

Even for dealership prices, these are quite high-$130 for the modem is borderline insanity IMHO.

I need a HD cover and screw, as well as mini-PCI and memory covers. PM me if you're interested in selling these separately.

Good luck.
