Replace CPU

#1 Post by tzmueller » Thu Jan 10, 2008 7:13 pm

I have a T60p - 2007-93U and am wanting to replace the CPU with the fastest I can find (Core 2 Duo).

I have the latest bios and wondering which CPU I am use?

Thanks.

upgrading from a Core Duo to a Core 2 isn't that big of an improvement unless you are upping the Ghz too. Going from say 1.66ghz Core Duo to a 2.4 Core 2 Duo is the only time it's worth it.

I have a T2600 in my T60p.. so I don't think it would be worth it.
