With the September release of the T60's XP ATI video drivers, closing my laptop's lid results in the resolution changing to 1024x768 (native is 1400x1050) (I think). It reverts upon reopening the lid, but not before resizing all windows, etc. I would really like to be running the newer drivers, I do have an older version that will work, but that does not seem very ideal. What I have tried so far:
All Fn+F7 options (w/o presentation manager). One of these options gives me a 1024x768 screen res, I resized that, but it didn't stick (cycling back to that setting resulted in 1024x768 again), and certainly did not fix my problem. I have also installed presentation manager, and played with that for a bit, deleting all profiles except for "current settings" and "factory default" (both of which are 1400x1050). No joy there either. Is this a common problem? Does it have a workaround?
Finally, on a related note, where are old lenovo drivers avaliable, if anywhere?
Thanks.

It's a problem with the drivers and so far there's nothing better than downgrading, known to me.
It has been discussed here already, and someone said that this is the default behaviour of ATI drivers and Lenovo was lazy this time to modify it. Unluckily the previous version has issues with changing the primary display to DVI on docking, so I can't use them. Bummer.
