T21 Processor temperature / T21 Temperatura del procesador.

Hi!!!

I have a nice T21, 2647-27U with the Basic, PIII 800Mhz, HD30GB and 256MB RAM,

I have the fan connected directly, that means the fan it´s working everytime, that´s cause the board doesn´t turn the fan on or off automatically, so the best solution it´s to fix the fan to work directly on always.

My question is: What is the range of maximum temperature of the proccesor? cause when I operate my T21 to the maximum as possible (with multiple applications running at the same time) the proccesor goes to 95C.
At this time the processor its working at 68C.

If anybody knows the parameters of the temperatures for my PIII (T21 thinkpad) please!!! post it! English or spanish.

Looks like it's 100C if this is the processor you have. If not, I'm reasonably sure this data is close to what you have.

That information on intel´s page its important! If my poor english is good so that informations says something about a 100C temperature limit. So I think with my actually 68C on my PIII it´s fresh. Sounds weird, but im now more calm.

Jajajaja!!!
Its great to see an American talking (writing) in Spanish, its good. You know? I was in NY a lot of times (last year when I was working with Avianca) and its good to see a lot of Americans speaking spanish, maybe not good but making the best trying to do it better and better. I need to get better my grammar, Im feeling talking like "Tarzan" when I talk in english. I need to get better.

I was looking the webpage that you post above, I feel good with that 100C limit! I need to try with my Thinkpad T21 in NYC in a Summer, that will be the gold test, you know, with the humidity and the 120F at the day.
My next step is to get the 512M ram, and the DVD burner unit, I feel good with my old T21.

Can you please share how do you connect the fan directly. IIRC there are 4 wires going in it. I guess 2 are power and the rest are control related. Do I have to ground one of those or is it something else?
