Duplicate thread locked: T7x - what do you want?

I am quite happy with my T41 and T42. But I wasn't impressive with my T43p due to noise.

Due to size, heat and weight I am still considering next T6x purchase.

I'd like to get your opinions for T7x. What you'd like to have in it?

I hope next T7x has following features.

- less noise and heat.
- keep 14" but cheaper than 15" not like T6x.
- thiner and lighter than T4x - 1.5 - 1.7Kg would be nice.
- plastic cover for a swappable DVD/CD-ROM place like fujitsu so that we can save weight.
- keep it simple - do we still need PCMCIA, parallel port (USB printer? can we get this space for extra memory slots, 4 slots?).
- SATA II support on board.
- VGA to DVI port.

Did I miss anything else?

but besides the subject, i don't think T70 is going to come out until the end of next year. T62 is still not here, after that there should be T63, unless lenovo is going to give up on the traditional TXX numbering. it certainly does look like it for the X series.....
