I've installed Xp by itself and another time with SP3 on it and I noticed whilt running IE, the grey area below the blue bar is kinda got pink lines/splotches in it. Can this be video bad? I downloaded the current video drivers and did'nt phase it. I don't see it anywhere physicsally on the LCD panel, just when I open up IE or Explorer. Just on the right side of the screen. I can play movies and don't notice it either.

Sorry for the late reply....no, my mouse cursor seems to be fine and I don't notice the effect anywhere else on the screen.

Have you tested it with another browser, e.g. Firefox?

Yes, I'm using Firefox as I am writing this reply. I can't figure this thing out at all. Kinda annoying, but maybe not a real threat.

Got it solved I believe. I changed the Windows theme to the Classic style and the affected area seemed to be normal. Must be the XP theme or something.
