Proper install/Thinkvantage system update ?

After using the C:\IBM Tools\APPS\IBM Update Connector.msi
file to uninstall the old update connector...

Edit: My 2005 machine came loaded with update connector...
evidently this was before Software Installer...
and now to Tv system update....

I have been creating folder: Tvsu; in C:\Program Files, & copying the downloaded 'install'.exe ( 310-2007-10-24) file to same
& opening...

This apparently creates the folder; C:\Lenovo\System Update
where the Tvsu resides.

Is this correct ?....
