UltraNav problem

#1 Post by Estrogen Kid » Tue Jan 15, 2008 9:03 pm

I'm having problems with UltraNav when I resume from standby. The middle mouse button and touchpad scrolling do not work at all when I resume from standby. I need insight on why this is happening :(

Which Operating System?, I suggest you install / reinstall the latest drivers.

Accrding to lenovo:
Symptoms corrected by the latest UltraNav driver for Windows 2000/XP - ThinkPad wrote:(Fix) On Windows XP, TrackPoint/touch pad scrolling function does not work intermittently after resuming from standby(suspend) or waking up from hibernation.

I have the latest version of the UltraNav driver installed (7.5.17.25) and I'm running Windows XP Professional. It does not work after resuming from standby. Any ideas?

I was having this exact problem, and updating to the latest drivers worked.

For the longest time, when I came out of standby and the trackpoint wasn't working, I would keep putting it back into and then coming out of standby until the trackpoint started working again.

For whatever reasons, System Update must have missed that one. I've been hearing a few negative things about it, but this is the first time I've seen it in action.
