Just ran system update and had a slew of updates install(Power manager, active protection, presentation directory and I don't know what else). I use multiple monitors on a daily basis, either VGA or DVI depending on if I'm docked or not. Ever since I ran this update its almost impossible to get my VGA port working right. I haven't been able to test DVI yet, but things seem messed up to say the least. I did not install any new video drivers and ran the latest bios update that showed in system update after I had these errors in hopes of fixing things. I also reinstalled my video drivers and presentation director to see if it fixed anything.
Basically I have to remove all monitors, reboot, load up windows, attach the monitor then change to the profile I like. If the screens power off or if i put my system in standby I'm unable to get the external monitors to work at all again until a reboot. All I get(i have tried this on two screens) is unsupported resolution. I adjust to various screen resolutions with no change.
Anyone else run into this problem?
