I bought a refurbished ultrabay battery on ebay but I think they are just used. The Batter Maximiser says that it has almost 1000 cycles and about 3Wh. I have deep cycled it about 3 times and it does not last for more than 30 minutes.
After recharging, the battery information never lists remaining capacity as more than full charge capacity. But when the battery is down to 0%, I usually get 15 more minutes of use before the computer dies and shuts down my computer.
Could the cycle numbers and full charge capacity numbers be preventing the battery from charging to full capacity even though it says 100%? Is there any way to reset these numbers?
And If I use the ultra bay battery along with the standard battery, will the computer let the ultrabay battery completely die before switching to the standard battery? because if not, I am losing 15 minutes of battery life from the ultrabay.
