Ethernet Driver issue on T21

Hello everyone,
Hope all is well. I have just bought my sisters T21 (2647-4AA) as she does not use a laptop anymore.

I must put my hand up and say that I have created the problem that I am asking assistance for, and I would be greatly appreciated if one or more of you can assist.

I have an R40 series with inbuilt wireless and I presummed that the T21 having also a mini pci card was also wireless. Long story short I have stuffed up the software that runs the mini pci card, (which I now an led to believe is for the modem and ethernet port)

My question is how do I fix this? Please step by step instructions would be helpful.

I have perused through other threads in the T2X section regarding ehternet cards but I cannot follow the link (it times out) that has a software download.

The card (mini pci) is P/N 08k3181 and FRU 08K3125.

Again your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

FRU 08K3125 is the Intel MiniPCI Combo card (56K modem and ethernet). The Support and Downloads site was just off-line for a few minutes; it seems to be back now. You can find the T21 drivers here:

The Intel Combo card appears to be this one:
