If anyone could PM me in the right direction (the link on Zend's site) that would be fantastic.

Thanks a ton man!

If anyone who has experience using Zender's Bios I'd love to chat with you over PM. For some reason Im not getting it at all.

Im a software engineer by trade and Im lost on the steps to get this working. Obviously I dont want to post my exact troubles publicly but to generalize, putting the files in appropriate folders, huh?

Again, any direction would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

@nonothing:
download the CD version (zipfile), unzip the .iso file, burn a CD from that .iso and boot from it. That's all.
If you really are a software engineer, this should be child's play...

I thought it was really that simple, but the instructions say I have to put 2 files into some folder. Im not finding...any folder... in the ISO. I assumed all changes had been made and all i had to do was flash the BIOS. Just making sure Im not lost on this.

Hi again ;)

sorry for replying to my own post, but since some of you already sent out PMs regarding all other bioses, I feared my post might have been overlooked, please, please don't forget about me :)

I was asking for a bios for the R61i 15,4" without iee1394.

Thank you many times, btw: I would like to donate to whom ever is responsible for doing this mod for the R61i, since a whitelist removal for that type (R61i 15,4 widescreen, without iee1394) is SO [censored] hard to find. I guess Zender did that. Could someone please provide me with details how to donate him?

I already tried to add my wlan card's id to the Bios, which I already did for a t400s and a R60e. But I struggle with this one.
I don't understand why. No 1802 anymore, but I must have missed a check since windows would still only recognize the card when I plugged it in shortly after the bios starting sequence.

Also if there's someone who successfully bricked his Thinkpad after flashing and is struggling recovering it, I *might* be able to help, since I bricked a R60e and a T400s and I got both recovered after 2 days trying.
There are many different versions of the same tools around and some really good short guides how to do that, but there are also some minor things, that aren't mentioned to watch out for which aren't too obvious (at least they weren't for me).
I was also extremely put down by too many posts which claimed it wasn't even possible for Thinkpads, while it's generally possible for phoenix bios notebooks.

Well just ask if you have problems recovering your Thinkpad and MAYBE I could help you out.

Maybe another BIOS, one for the R61 would be compatible too I don't know.

Thank you very much!

@nonothing:
Zender combined both versions (.FL1 for DIYers, and .ISO for everyone else) in one package.
You only need the .ISO and do as instructed above.

Thanks very much for the BIOS.

BTW: I can confirm that the bios v22 in "untested/unconfirmed" for the R61i does work. I took the chance and flashed it. Worked like a charm.
It's this one: 7PETC2WW 2.22

Thanks again so much!

Can you please send me your whitelist BIOS for IBM ThinkPad R32? I have an atheros miniPCI wlan adapter but can't upgrade it on R32 because of the 1802/1804 error.

Thank you!

I'm looking for disassembled BIOSCODx.ROM modules from T43's BIOS. IDA Pro isn't providing me code as is shown here:
http://www.endeer.cz/bios.tools/bios.html
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?...

Thanks for help.
