I'd swear I have all the display power savings settings disabled (in the OS and the Thinkpad utility alike) and I've set the machine for "burn baby burn" to keep full screen brightness when it is on battery, but there's a big drop in screen brightness as soon as I pull the power plug, and even manually setting it to full brightness (with the Fn-keys) doesn't bring it back up.
Is this a Vista-Thinkpad oddity or am I missing some OTHER control over the brightness?
T61P screen *always* dims on battery?
