Quick launch Icons dissapering periodically (Help)

Hi I need a little advice, my quick launch icons sometimes dissapear from my taskbar when resuming from standby or when staring up and then I have to go through the annoying process of putting them in their place again (right click taskbar/quick launch) and then I have to unlock the taskbar and drag my icions out untill I can see all of them and lock the taskbar again.... very annoying
does someone here now why this happens and what I can do about it ?
