Penryn T61p...when?

I'm just wondering if there are any rumors or other info as to when the penryn T61p will be out. I'm in need of a laptop (rather soon). Even if I order one right now (merom), ETA is about 5 weeks. But I would be kicking myself if Lenovo releases the penryns 4 weeks from now because in my opinion, penryns are worth the wait. Just wanted to when the penryns will arrive. If penryn T61p come out like say in May, then I would just go ahead and order the merom version right now.

The point is, why buy merom T61p when you could have penryn T61p, unless penryns are delayed for some reason and Lenovo puts them out in May. So any info on penryn? Is it on schedule or delayed?

Penrn models are due this January. 'T' series laptops have been shipping very quickly recently. Check out the "shipping thread" for actual times. I ordered one on 12/31 and it was received on 1/7 for example.
