I have an X41 tablet that I use in my office with an X4 Dock docking station. 3 times/week I undock my computer to give a lecture. Every time this happens, when I return to my office and redock, the docking fails -- neither the external mouse nor the external keyboard work (although the external monitor does). I need to turn off my computer and then reboot it for it to work in the docking station.
I have noticed that when this redocking fails, the system attempts to redock as an Ultrabase device (which it isn't).
Interesting enough, if I simply undock and dock without leaving my office, this problem does NOT occur. This is what is most puzzling about the problem.
Does anyone have any clue what is causing this problem and how to solve it? I have the lateste EjectUtility version installed.
