T30 video controller (VGA) driver
Hello,
I did a lot of reading ans search but couldn't find any help.
I have a T30 and since I upgraded to a 80GIG HDD, it tells me each time I turn my laptop on that it found a new hardrive, Video controller (VGA compatible) and ask me if I want to install it. I can't find any driver. In the device manager, I have a yellow question mark with other divice and under a second question mark with Video Controller (VGA Compatible) and under general property, «This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1) To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.»
I don't know what to do.
I have the 3 recovery disc but I didn't used them for the installation of Windows XP, I used the Windows XP CD instead.

First of all, welcome to the forum!
Go to Lenovo's website (www.lenovo.com), choose "supports and downloads", then type in your machine type (located at the bottom side of your laptop, probably 2366-??? or 2367-???) and find the drivers that you're missing.
Good luck.

Just download the video driver for the OS that you're running from that page, forget the "VGA compatible" part...and make sure you follow the instructions on unpacking it, because downloading is not the end of the process when it comes to ThinkPad drivers...
