acess connection

how to delete the profile from acess connection? i try to delete the profile by clicking on the profile. as soon as i click on the profile delte tab and edit tab greyed out. i am using ver 4.42 for acess connection.

I think you have to delete the profile from the userid that created it. Also, if the userid you are using does not have administrative rights, then Access Connections needs the setting "Allow non-admin users to create profiles".

If you are the admin, and still can't do it, uninstall Access Connections *and* all the profiles, restart, reinstall and rebuild the profiles (checking each one as you go). ... JDH

i am the admin. allow non-admin users <<<< is this an option somewhere in acess connection ?

i am the admin. allow non-admin users <<<< is this an option somewhere in acess connection ?
It's in the Global Settings. But you may not be able to modify it since the option is likely to be grayed out.

I had the EXACTLY same problem a couple of weeks ago and it's jdhurst who helped me out. Just reinstall the program (uninstall and delete everything related before reinstall) then the problem should go away.

I had this same problem. I simply built a new profile and ignored the problem profile for a few days. After a few reboots the phantom profile disappeared.
