Genuine, purchased from Lenovo, has IBM logo. Rated for 14.4v Nominal and 2.8AH. Serial is not a recalled battery per Lenovo's webtool. Reads 36.4 WH/37.44WH:

Code: Select all

~$ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/*
alarm: 1820 mWh
present: yes
design capacity: 37440 mWh
last full capacity: 36400 mWh
battery technology: rechargeable
design voltage: 14400 mV
design capacity warning: 1820 mWh
design capacity low: 200 mWh
capacity granularity 1: 1 mWh
capacity granularity 2: 1 mWh
model number: 92P1169
serial number: 1192
battery type: LION
OEM info: SONY
present: yes
capacity state: ok
charging state: charged
present rate: 0 mW
remaining capacity: 36400 mWh
present voltage: 16673 mV
Looking to trade straight-up for reasonable capacity 4 cell slimline. Request battery health output from whichever operating system you use.

Thanks.

badunka bump. "Looking for reasonable capacity" means ~75% of full capacity or better. I do not care if the slimline is refurbished or third-party.

It is perhaps of interest that the 4 cell enhanced battery offered in it's current state has 26% more capacity (36.4 watt-hours) than a brand new 4 cell slimline (28.8 watt-hours).
