I assume you mean 70ET50WW or something that starts off 70ET. It looks like someone at some point changed out your motherboard to one with intel, rather than ati, graphics. If this is true, you need to flash with the BIOS for one of the models that look like 1XXX-XXX. What is the part number of your mortherboard? You can see it if you remove the rear memory cover. Ihe good news is that you won't ever have the problem where the solder connections come loose on the graphics chip.

I cannot figure it out. What is the part number and FRU of the motherboard? You can see it if you remove the memory cover on the back.

When you say "you think that is the part number", where did you get it? If it says that on the motherboard, than your BIOS should be this one:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-59096

However, the problem is that the existing BIOS has nothing to do with that MB. (also, that is a bios version that doesn't seem to exist.) Something is wrong somewhere, so don't assume that is the MB only because it is the one that is supposed to go with the model showing on the bios screen.

I find it on the lable sticked to my motherboard when I remove the memory cover.

When I update the BIOS version you provide, the system warns me that the BIOS cannot write, please press ctrl+alt+del to restart...
