On start up the computer gets to checking the status of embedded security chip......and will go no further.
I caused this I believe while unchecking some services in the misconfig box.
My computer will not boot.
Is there a way to bypass and then uninstall the security program?
Thanks,
Dato

I believe the security chip can be disabled in BIOS. (Press F1 before it starts hanging). I seem to have experenced the same problem, but it was at the startup of Windows, if I remember right. It took like forever to login. I thought the computer was freezing but the check proccess finished after all. Every time you change your security settings from software based to hardwaere based or the other way around, the first boot after will take longer.
