I am unable to install Thinkpad Wireless LAN (11abgn) driver

I've inatalled Windows Vista X32 Ultimate after deleting the service partition (Predesktop) and reformatting the entire hard drive.

Everything has gone without any hitch except for 11abgn and Windows Vista Update Module KB930979.

I've tried to install them a few times but they don't get installed. I don't see them on the Contro Panel or on the Device Manager.

I've read something about the order by which one has to install the drivers, but I can't remember the detail.

By the way, I installed Vista yesterday without reformatting the hard drive. I had not trouble with 11abgn. So, it appears that there is some conflict between certain drivers.

Do you have any suggestion?

For the Wifi, hit FN-F5 on your keyboard, and turn the wireless radio on.

I had to do an 'upgrade' re-install of Vista to correct the problem to a certain extent. But the wireless connection did not get automaticlly established on every reboot.

I, then, followed this installation instruction (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 51#install) and manually installed Access Connection, Lenovo System Interface Driver and Hotkey Features before I re-installed 11abgn driver.

Now the wireless connection is working perfectly.
