Any helpt here?

I have the very same problem with a T23 here.
No signal on the LCD. External is fine, I can use FN+7 to switch back and forth. The internal LCD only shows a white screen (no signal).
I used a working LCD assembly and checked everything.

The problem on the T23 seems to be on the motherboard.
Has anyone solved this problem in the past?

Could be a problem with a (partly) detached inductor, which is common in the T23s, or a defective LCD cable. Or maybe the cable isn't plugged into the mainboard socket or LCD panel socket tightly. There's also the possibility that the LCD panel is defective, but that would be a conclusion I'd make after checking everything else.

Sorry, no.

The Thinkpad works just fine. PC Doctor did not find any problems. But there seems to be no signal going to the LCD.
External VGA is fine.

I tried a new, complete LCD assembly from a T22. It only displays a white screen on the T23 (which means no video signal).
I checked all other related threaths here and a lot of people seemed to have the very same problem. Unfortunately they never gave any information how they solved the problems.

I assume, I have to buy a new motherboard somewhere?
