I updated the System Update to latest version 3.13 and noticed there is just another windows service installed and running. I don't need scheduled updates so I started to experiment which services can be safely changed from Automatic to Manual startup. It seems as it is following list:
- System Update
- ThinkVantage Registry Monitor Service
- TVT Scheduler
Running the System Update application causes to start the "System Update" service on demand which is as expected.
Any long-time experiences with such settings ?
