600X tapping on the trackpointer selection feature!

#1 Post by HarryWild » Fri Nov 26, 2004 3:07 am

I have Microsoft XP Pro -Microsoft Version not IBM Thinkpad on the 600X and so it does not have the program to do the trackpointer double tapping shortcut to make a selection.

Does anyone know where in the IBM website, that this program might be founded and downloaded?

Thanks!

Harry

All Windows XP and 2000 versions that I've seen already come with an IBM TrackPoint driver by default that has support for the press-to-select (and dragging, and magnifying glass etc.) feature. Just check the mouse settings in the control panel, particularly the TrackPoint tab.
