I purchased a T41 Thinkpad for my daughter about three years ago. The machine has worked wonderfully until a couple days ago, when she tried to start the computer and gets an error that says:
0210 stuck key
0211 keyboard error
We put a brand new keyboard in the machine and it still have the same error. We took the machine to a local IBM repair partner close to us and they indicated it was the system board. They say about $475.00 just to replace the board.
Does anyone have any ideas? At $475.00 I think I would just have her buy a low end new laptop. She just uses it for college school work. anyone have any idea what the machine could be sold for as is? The screen and everything else is in great shape.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
