I purchased restore CDs from IBM for the A30 about 6 months ago. You will have to call IBM to see if CDs are available.

Go to this site and find the telephone number to contact customer service:

http://www-307. ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=YAST-3P2QYL#PCD

The listed number was a service center in Atlanta and the ordering process took about 10 minutes. You will need the model number and serial number from the decal on bottom of the machine. I recall the price was about $55 delivered for the 2 CD set with XP Pro and all drivers to restore to the original factory setting. Delivery was very fast. I ordered on a Saturday and received on Monday.

You'd have to own a machine with warranty to be able to order a copy from IBM, but if that fails, I'll gladly burn you a set.

I did not have a warranty when I purchased the CD set. I purchased the A30 on ebay and definitely had no warranty. When I called Customer Service they wanted only the serial number and model number. No mention of warranty. They checked for availablity of the CDs and took my order.
